Around 200 members of Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF-Inkotanyi) from across the United Kingdom gathered in Brighton on July 18 to reflect on Rwanda’s progress over the past 32 years and the role of Rwandans abroad in supporting the country’s development.

The event brought together different generations of Rwandans, including pioneers of the RPF community in the UK and younger members raised in Britain.

Participants reflected on the country’s liberation journey and its transformation under the RPF. They also explored how the diaspora can continue contributing to nation-building.

The programme featured a presentation on Rwanda’s current opportunities and challenges, with participants reflecting on how Rwandans living abroad can contribute through their knowledge, skills and experience.
