The Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) has officially suspended all activities of Grace Room Ministries, citing the organization’s persistent failure to comply with legal requirements that govern faith-based organizations in the country.
In a public notice issued on 10th May 2025, RGB stated that Grace Room Ministries repeatedly failed to submit its annual activity and financial reports, despite receiving multiple reminders. The suspension will remain in effect until further notice, pending full compliance with the applicable regulations.
Grace Room Ministries is led by Pastor Julienne K. Kabanda. RGB emphasized that such measures is part of its broader mandate to ensure accountability, transparency, and adherence to national laws across all faith-based organizations in Rwanda.
RGB reiterated its commitment to ensuring that all religious organizations operate within the legal framework, upholding good governance principles and serving the public interest.
