In a recent interview on EAUR VIBES Radio’s Street Talk Show, hosted by Mc Kidunda and Shiggy Mic The show is held every Saturday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM., HAJP shared his journey, the challenges he’s faced, and his aspirations for the future of Rwandan Hip Hop.

During the interview, HAJP reflected on his early passion for music and how it shaped his career. “I’ve always had a love for music, especially Hip Hop. Growing up, I was inspired by artists like Tuffgang,” he explained. “I started making music in 2020, and what has kept me going is the incredible support from my fans. Their encouragement has been a major factor in helping me reach where I am today.”

While his musical journey has been filled with achievements, HAJP has also encountered significant obstacles. One of the major challenges he highlighted was the lack of financial support to push his projects forward. “A key challenge I’ve faced is the absence of adequate support, but I’ve never let that stop me. I’ve continued to create high-quality music that aligns with my vision,” he stated. “Music is my true passion, and I’ve never considered giving up.”

In discussing the future of Hip Hop in Rwanda, HAJP expressed optimism for the genre’s continued growth. “Hip Hop in Rwanda has grown significantly, and I believe that there will be more recognition and awards for Hip Hop artists in the coming years,” he noted. “I hope that artists like me can continue to have a platform and contribute to the further development of the industry.”

Looking ahead, HAJP is focused on expanding his musical portfolio and collaborating with other talented artists to further elevate his career. “My goal is to produce even better music and work with other gifted artists to grow my name and help promote Rwandan Hip Hop internationally,” he said.

Some of HAJP’s popular tracks include “Winsiga,” “Lighter ft. Racine,” “Ntamikino ft. Meekshan,” “Media,” and “Inzira,” a collaboration with Relax. These songs have played a key role in establishing his place in the industry, earning him a strong following and recognition.

HAJP’s journey reflects his unwavering determination, talent, and dedication to advancing Rwandan Hip Hop. With his eyes set on the future, he is poised to continue making a significant impact both locally and on the global stage.
