Rwanda Broadcasting Agency (RBA) journalist Christelle Kabagire entered the “House of Secrets” on Saturday, October 17, as a contestant in the third season of Secret Story Afrique. She is Rwanda’s second contestant in the show, after France Mpundu, second season in 2025 and finished fourth.
Kabagire is one of 20 candidates from 16 countries who will live in the house for eight weeks, each hiding a secret. She is known for her work on entertainment and fashion shows at the Rwanda Broadcasting Agency (RBA).
CANAL+ Rwanda backed her on X: “We believe in you, Christelle! Bring it home!”
Her fellow housemates include Mistourah from Benin, Byby Eclat from Ivory Coast, and Claudio Njalla and Morelle from Cameroon. The others are Ange, Charline, Déborah, Dietrich, Ibrahim, Irachi, Jobel, Julienne, Julio, Mariam, Mobi, Nancy, Vince, Vivien and Williame.
Housemates try to uncover as many of the others’ secrets as possible while protecting their own until the end, with public votes deciding who stays. A host known only as La Voix sets games and challenges that can win clues and money. The winner of the season will take home 20 million FCFA (about 50.7 million Rwandan francs).
The season runs from October 17 to December 12 on CANAL+ Magic. Daily shows air on weekdays at 18:15 (50 minutes), prime-time broadcasts air on Saturdays at 20:30 (120 minutes), and live footage runs around the clock on CANAL+ Événement.
Secret Story Afrique is the African version of the French reality show Secret Story and first aired in June 2024. Ivorian contestant Awa Sanoko won season 1, and Moctar from Niger won season 2 in November 2025. CANAL+ says 9 million viewers watched the daily shows in season 2, and 1.3 million watched the final live.
