Kigali, the Capital of Rwanda, is set to become a hub for financial technology (FinTech) innovation as it hosts the second edition of the Inclusive FinTech Forum from February 24 to 26, 2025.

Organized in collaboration with the Kigali International Financial Centre (KIFC), the National Bank of Rwanda, and other key stakeholders, the forum aims to foster FinTech growth in the digital economy. It will bring together industry leaders, investors, and FinTech innovators to exchange ideas, forge strategic partnerships, and explore solutions that drive financial inclusion through impactful technologies.
Kosta Peric, Deputy Director of Financial Services for the Poor at the Gates Foundation, emphasized the forum’s significance, “As someone focused on digital financial solutions for underserved communities, I find the Inclusive FinTech Forum invaluable for discovering innovative approaches to financial inclusion.”

Dr. Esselina Macome, CEO of Financial Sector Deepening Mozambique, also highlighted its impact, “In my work advancing financial inclusion in Mozambique, I have realized how the Inclusive FinTech Forum provides crucial insights and partnerships for transformation.”
With an expected attendance of 3,000 delegates, the event will further position Rwanda as a fast-growing FinTech hub and a leader in Africa’s digital financial landscape. The high-level opening ceremony and discussions will take place at the Kigali Convention Center, reinforcing the country’s role as a catalyst for FinTech opportunities across the continent.
