On February 13, 2026, the University League basketball competition continued at St Joseph Kicukiro, where EAUR W BBC delivered a statement performance with two commanding victories.
First Game: EAUR W BBC 74–29 RICA
EAUR W BBC opened the day with an 11:30 AM clash against RICA in a game that began with high intensity from both sides. However, EAUR quickly asserted dominance through teamwork and clinical finishing.
Migisha Janviere led the charge with an outstanding 29 points, while team captain Umuhoza Nadine played a crucial leadership role on both ends of the court. EAUR W BBC controlled the tempo throughout the contest and cruised to a convincing 74–29 victory.
Second Game: EAUR W BBC 55–29 UR-Nyagatare
Later at 4:00 PM, EAUR returned to the court to face UR-Nyagatare. Despite the physical demands of playing two games in one day, EAUR W BBC maintained their intensity and discipline.
They secured another comfortable win, defeating UR-Nyagatare 55–29 to complete a perfect day.
Coach Fabrice: “Our Goal Is the Trophy”
After the games, Head Coach Ishimwe Fabrice emphasized that teamwork remains the foundation of their success.
“There is no secret beyond working together and sharing the same vision on the court. This team previously competed in Rwanda’s top basketball division, so most of what we are achieving is not surprising to us. It is a continuation of what we have always done.”
He further stated that the ultimate objective is clear:
“Our goal is the trophy. This was our fifth game, and we have won all five. We remain focused on winning the championship. We also hope for improved logistics and better game management from organizers.”

Captain Nadine: “We Are Ready for the Title”
Captain Umuhoza Nadine expressed confidence in the squad’s preparation and unity.
“Hard work and teamwork helped us. This competition is also helping us discover and nurture new talents. We feel stronger and more motivated.”
She concluded by thanking the University League organizers and East Africa University Rwanda for their continued support.

EAUR W BBC now top their group with five wins out of five, remaining unbeaten as the first round concludes. The return-leg fixtures are the only games left before the decisive stages.
