More than 200 companies from various sectors in China are set to participate in the “Meet Rwanda in China” event, scheduled to take place in Wuhan from August 1 to 2, 2025.
The event aims to showcase investment opportunities in Rwanda, promote locally made products (Made in Rwanda), boost tourism and cultural exchange, and engage the Rwandan diaspora in China in the country’s development efforts.
Organized by the Rwandan Embassy in China in collaboration with the local Rwandan community, the program will include high-level business discussions in partnership with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).
These discussions will bring together members of the Rwandan diaspora, entrepreneurs, business leaders, researchers, tourism professionals, cultural institutions, business associations, media representatives, and friends of Rwanda.
China is currently Rwanda’s top source of foreign direct investment (FDI) and a major destination for Rwandan exports. The event is expected to further strengthen the existing bilateral relationship.
“Meet Rwanda in China” is envisioned as a recurring platform to connect Rwandans abroad with opportunities to contribute to their homeland’s growth.
